The Vital Functions

Loading files 加载文件

Blender uses the .blend file format to save nearly everything: Objects, scenes, textures, and even all your user interface window settings.

Blender 使用 .blend 这个后缀名来命名它的默认格式。这种格式保存了几乎所以的东西,包括场景、物体、贴图等,甚至是你的软件界面设置。

To load a Blender file from disk, press F1. The focused window then temporarily transforms into the File Selection Window as shown in File Selection Window - loading.. The bar on the left can be dragged with LMB for scrolling. To load a file, select it with LMB and press ENTER, or simply click it with LMB on the button. A file can also be loaded by using the MMB over the name of the file you want. It is then loaded up as if you had pressed enter.

要从硬盘加载一个 Blender 文件,请按 F1 。当前窗口(比如说3D视图窗口)会变为一个临时的文件选择窗口,如下图。如果文件很多,那么你可以拖动左边的滚动条以达到翻页的目的。要加载某个文件,可以选择如下方法,任选其一:

The upper text box displays the current directory path, and the lower one contains the selected filename. (P) moves you up to the parent directory and the button with the dash maintains a list of recently used paths. On Windows operating systems, the button also contains a list of all drives (C:, D:, etc).

顶部的文字框显示当前目录,下面的显示当前目录中的文件。左上角有个 (P) 按钮,用它可以移动到上一级目录,它下面的按钮则记录了最近访问过的目录,如果是在Windows系统下,这个按钮还包含了所有的盘符,比如C盘、D盘等等。

Note:

Blender expects that you know what you are doing! When you load a file, you are not asked to save unsaved changes to the scene you were previously working on: completing the file load dialog is regarded as being enough confirmation that you didn't do this by accident. Make sure that you save your files.

假设你打开某个blender文件,对它进行了修改,并且希望保存你的修改,那么一定要在退出之前按 CTRL-W保存 或者 F2 另存。因为Blender在退出的时候不会提醒你保存文件。blender 默认你清楚这一点。


Saving files 保存文件

Saving files is like loading files: When you press F2, the focused window temporarily changes into a File Selection Window, as shown in File Selection Window - saving.. Click the lower edit box to enter a filename. If it doesn't end with ".blend," the extension is automatically appended. Then press ENTER to write the file. If a file with the same name already exists, you will have to confirm that you want to save the file at the overwrite prompt.

The save dialog contains a little feature to help you to create multiple versions of your work: Pressing NUM+ or NUM- increments or decrements a number contained in the filename. To simply save over the currently loaded file and skip the save dialog, press CTRL-W instead of F2 and just confirm at the prompt.

保存文件跟打开文件类似:按 F2 可以另存文件,当前窗口变为 文件另存窗口,输入一个名字,点击 save 按钮或者按 ENTER 就行了。如果你输入的文件名没有包含.blend ,blender会自动帮你加上。如果文件已经存在,那么你会被提醒是否要覆盖。保存对话框包含了一个特性,可以帮助你创建多版本文件,步骤如下:

  1. 先选择一个文件,这样文件名会出现在顶部的文本框里,或者手动输入一个文件名。
  2. NUM+NUM- 你就会看到效果,文件名中的数字会增加或递减,如果没有数字,则程序自动帮你加上。

如果不想打开另存对话框,而是想直接覆盖当前文件,那么你可以用 CTRL-W 来代替 F2

Rendering 渲染

This section will give you only a quick overview of what you'll need in order to render your scene. You'll find a detailed description of all options in Rendering.

The render settings are in the Scene Context and Rendering Buttons Sub-context (Rendering options in the RenderingButtons.) which is reached by clicking the Image:Manual-Part-I-RenderingButton.png, or by pressing F10.

渲染设置可以在 Scene 设置组Rendering 子级设置组 里找到,也就是说,你点击Image:Manual-Part-I-RenderingButton.png或者 按 F10 就能看到Rendering设置组,它保含四个设置面板:output(输出)、Render(渲染)、Anim(动画)和 format(格式)。如下图。

For now we are only interested in the Format Panel. The size (number of pixels horizontally and vertically) and file format of the image to be created are picked here. You can set the size using the SizeX and SizeY buttons. Clicking the selection box below (in Rendering options in the RenderingButtons., "Jpeg" is chosen) opens a menu with all available output formats for images and animations.

Now that the settings are complete, the scene may be rendered by hitting the RENDER button in the Render Panel or by pressing F12. Depending on the complexity of the scene, this usually takes between a few seconds and several minutes, and the progress is displayed in a separate window. If the scene contains an animation, only the current frame is rendered. (To render the whole animation, see Rendering Animations).

现在设置基本完成, 可以点击 RENDER按钮渲染场景了(RENDER按钮在{Literal|Render}} 面板里面) ,或者按F12也可以启动渲染。渲染可能要画几秒钟或几分钟,时间长短跟你的场景复杂度有关。注意,如果你的场景包含动画,那么按 RENDER只能渲染动画的第一帧,要想渲染整个动画,请看Rendering Animations

If you don't see anything in the rendered view, make sure your scene is constructed properly. Does it have lighting? Is the camera positioned correctly, and does it point in the right direction? Are all the layers you want to render visible? Make sure Blender Internal is chosen in the dropdown box below the RENDER button.

如果你在渲染窗口里面看不到任何东西(一片漆黑),请确认你正确设置了你的场景,比如:

  • 场景里面放置灯光了吗?
  • 有摄像机吗?它是否放对了地方,是否有正确的朝向?
  • 你要渲染的层都可见吗?
  • 确保当前渲染器为内置渲染器(即确保RENDER面板里的下拉菜单处于Blender Internal选项,因为用外置渲染器Yafray会需要更多的灯光,更多的设置,新手推荐使用内置渲染器)。
Note:

A rendered image is not automatically saved to disk. If you are satisfied with the rendering, you may save it by pressing F3 and using the save dialog as described in Saving files. The image is saved in the format you selected previously in the Format Panel.

渲染后的图片不会被自动保存到硬盘,如果你满意你的渲染,请使用F3来打开保存对话框,而保存的图片格式需要在前面提到的 Format 面板里设置。


Image File Extensions:

Blender does not add the type extension automatically to image files! You should type the extension explicitly, if you need it.

Blender 不会自动给你的图片加后缀名,如果你需要后缀名,请在保存的时候键入后缀。

User preferences and Themes 用户参数设置和主题设置

Blender has a few options that are not saved with each file, but which apply to all of a user's files instead. These preferences primarily concern user interface handling details, and system properties like mouse, fonts, and languages.

Blender 的大部分用户参数设置和主题设置并不随着每份文件的保存而保存,这些设置只保存在.B.blend文件当中,用户不必关心这个文件的保存地点,这个由Blender自动处理。Blender在加载之后会自动打开.B.blend这个文件,它用来保存用户自定义的“默认”设置,比如界面布局、鼠标、字体和语言。你可以通过快捷键CTRL-U来保存当前设置为默认设置,这样,当Blender再次启动的时候,会加载你希望的设置。


As the user preferences are rarely needed, they are neatly hidden behind the main menu. To make them visible, pull down the window border of the menu (usually the topmost border in the screen). The settings are grouped into seven categories which can be selected with the violet buttons shown in User preferences window..

因为“用户参数设置”很少被用到,所以它们被隐藏到了主菜单的背后。若要将它们显现出来,只需拉下菜单窗口的边框,也就是屏幕顶端的的那条边界线(菜单窗口也叫做“用户参数设置窗口 User preferences window”)。拉下菜单窗口后,可以看到一些被紫蓝色按钮分好类的设置组。

Because most buttons are self-explanatory or display a helpful tool-tip if you hold the mouse still over them, we won't describe them in detail here. Instead, we will just give you an overview of the preference categories:

因为大部分的按钮都有自动帮助功能(鼠标移到上面,就会出现该按钮的提示),所以这里就不多说了,下面我们只是大概的讲一下:

  • View & Controls 视图与操作
Settings concerning how the user interface should react to user input, such as which method of rotation should be used in 3D views. Here you can also activate 3-button mouse emulation if you have a two-button mouse. MMB can then be input as ALT-LMB.
设置用户界面如何对用户的操作进行反馈,比如在3D 窗口中的旋转方式,比如中键的用途。你还可以将三键模拟功能用在二键鼠标上,模拟之后,ALT-LMB的作用等于MMB
  • Edit Methods 编辑方法
Lets you specify the details for the workings of certain editing commands like duplicate.
让你指定编辑命令的细节,比如duplicate.
  • Language & Fonts 语言与字体
Select an alternative TrueType font for display in the interface, and choose from available interface languages.

  • Themes 主题
Beginning with version 2.30, Blender allows the utilization of Themes to define custom interface colors. You can create and manage themes from here.

  • Auto Save 自动保存
Auto saves can be set so that you will have an emergency backup in case something goes wrong. These files are named Filename.blend1, Filename.blend2, etc.
自动保存(Auto Save)使得你可以在紧急情况下(比如说停电、死机),得到宝贵的备份,这些备份被命名为 Filename.blend1, Filename.blend2 等等。
  • System & OpenGL 系统与OpenGL
You should consult this section if you experience problems with graphics or sound output, or if you don't have a numerical keypad and want to emulate it (for laptops). Furthermore, you can set the light scheme for solid and shaded draw modes.
如果你的电脑在图形和声音上出问题,那么可以试试这里的设置。另外,如果你用的是膝上电脑,那么你可以到这里修改小键盘的相关设置。此外,还可以设置光阴的绘制模式。

Setting the default scene 设置默认场景

You don't like Blender's default window set-up, or want specific render settings for each project you start, or you want to save your Theme? No problem. You can use any scene file as a default when Blender starts up. Make the scene you are currently working on the default by pressing CTRL-U. The scene will then be copied into a file called .B.blend in your home directory.

你不喜欢Blender的默认窗口布局吗?又或者不喜欢某些默认的渲染设置?或者不喜欢你的主题?没问题,你可以修改设置,并将当前设置保存为默认设置,这样当Blender启动后,所有设置都是你所期待的了。保存设置的方法很简单:CTRL-U。 所有设置将保存在一个名为.B.blend 的文件里面,这个文件位于你的Blender的安装目录。

You can clear the working project and revert to the default scene anytime through the menu entry File>>New or by pressing CTRL-X. But remember to save your changes to the previous scene first!

你可以使用File>>New 或按下CTRL-X来清空场景并回到默认场景。但是,一定要注意,必须先保存当前的工作,因为Blender不会在新建场景和清空场景的时候,提醒你要保存当前的场景。
